Permaculture Introduction
A big part of our theoretical classes will be learning the tools that permaculture gives us to develop our projects.
At the beginning of the course, we will pass through the Ethics and principles, Design methodologies and process, Zones and more, in order to understand them along the path of these 14 days.
Natural Building
These are the sessions where there will be more activity , from putting our feet in the mud to making our bricks, to practicing different tricks for final plaster finishes and natural paint. Here you will have the opportunity to gain experience and practice your skills in a more artistic and creative way.
We will dedicate one day of the course for insight into bamboo. Let´s go directly to harvest, and pass through the experience of working with it – from craft design to construction.

Organic gardening
What better opportunity than this to recover two of our beds. Practically from zero we´ll design and build, passing through the crop rotation, pest control strategies, potting mixes, preservation and seed saving...

Community living
In these sessions with various games and activities, we will learn and understand the different phases in community living, practicing the process together through out the two weeks.
We will see how to organize our community work and meetings to be more effective, also we will have a skill share night and watch documentaries to see strategies to overcome conflict in a positive sense.
Appropriate technologies
In this hands-on workshop we will build a solar system, mixing new and recycled materials. we will experience other ways to reach a more sustainable life.

Oriol Ferrando
I was born in Spain, where I spent some of my years dedicated to the world of environmentalism, studying and applying environment education. A few years ago, I discovered the world of permaculture and for a year, I've been practicing and accumulating experiences at Panya project.
I plan to do this course, one of the projects for my permaculture diploma, which I designed to transmit my knowledge and skills, meeting the needs of the students, the project and my self in a multi-functional and productive way for all.
To who is this course design for?
This course is focused on people who are beginning to learn permaculture, where we introduce a basic level in the roots of this infinite world, to expand our abilities, awakening the creative mind of each person towards a world more free, just, and sustainable.
Accommodation
Panya Project has comfortable shared dormitory, with mattresses, blankets and mosquito nets, hot showers and a reservoir where you can go to swimming in the warmer moments.
We follow a vegetarian diet, there will be three meals a day and The Sala is the place where we will eat together, gather in community or have the opportunity to take a nap.
